Yoroiden Samurai Troopers
--== SKIP THE INTRO! ==-- Ronin Warriors, Originally Yoroiden: Samurai Troopers, is an OOOOOLD 70's anime, probably one of the first cult-classic anime's to make it to North America. It's the story of 5 young guys who have become keepers of sacred armor broken apart from the powerful Armor of Inferno that was once worn by the demon lord. And now... that demon lord wants those 5 armors back so he can cross over dimensions from the demonic world and conquor the earth. Your typical Bad-Guy-Wants-To-Take-Over-The-World anime.

YST is one of CLAMPS first comic
appearances. Funny thing is, they ONLY drew the comics... not the series.RW/YST is broken into two categories: THe North American version and the original Japanese version. In the North American version, they changed alot of the names around to sound more appealing to American audiences... which is why when reading RW/YST fanfics, you'll come across a SLEW of names! The only 2 character who's names remain (relatively) constant through both versions is Ryo Sanada's, the guy in the pic to the left, and Seiji/Sage. The guys are: (Japanese names first / North American names second) Rekka no Ryo / Ryo of Wildfire (RED) Tenku no Touma / Rowen of Strata (DARK BLUE) Korin no Seiji / Sage of Halo (GREEN) Suiko no Shin / Kento of Hardrock (ORANGE) Kongo no Shu / Cye of Torrent (LIGHT BLUE) For sanity's sake, I'm using the North American names. THey're the most widely known. Now... on with the fic: The Legend of Chaos With Talpa gone, and the other Dynasty threats safely locked away, the world is supposedly safe. Or is it? The night after the group burries Anubis, Ryo is attacked by a new warrior claiming to be from the Dynasty. Her name is Sarjenka of Cryos, one of the Warriors of Chaos. She steals Ryo's armor of Wildfire and leaves Ryo for dead with a message: Get her the remaining Armors of Inferno, or everyone dies. CHAPTER ONE: It had been barely 24 hours since Anubis' burial when Ryo wakes in the middle of the night to find Mia's lake frozen solid. As he goes to investigate, he finds that the source of the sudden chill to the lake is a powerful woman dressed in armor much like Lady Kayura's. She takes the Armor of Wildfire from him and leaves him for dead in the frozen lake. CHAPTER TWO: The guys head off to school the next day to find that there's a new girl in the chemistry class. As experiments procede, Ryo falls suddenly ill and suffers a heart attack under the new girl's touch. Much to Kayura's surprise, the new girl could possibly be one of Talpa's warriors of Chaos. CHAPTER THREE: Ryo's taken to the hospital in bad condition. As Sage tries to comfort the new girl, he quickly finds out who she is. His armor is stolen, and Sage as well has been left for dead. And to make matters worse, Mia and the guys are arrested under suspiscion of attempted murder of Ryo and Sage. CHAPTER FOUR: Kento soon falls as the next victim, and Sarjenka of Kryos now has three pieces of the Armor of Inferno. CHAPTER FIVE: With three pieces of the Armor of INferno, Sarjenka next targets Rowen and Cye who are still in prison. She gains the Strata armor and goes after Cye, only to have Lady Kayura show up to put a dampener on her plans. CHAPTER SIX: Sarjenka, with Cye's Torrent Armor, now has Hariels White Armor, and wastes no time in finishing off the rest of the Ronins before going after Ryo for one last time. But her need for Ryo to come with her back to the Dynasty leads to a bargain that brings everyone back to life and lets the Dynasty warriors flood into Earth. Now, without Ryo, the Ronins gather to begin their counterstrike. CHAPTER SEVEN: Sarjenka, wanting to find out the secrets of the White Armor beckons the Ronins and Warlords to come to the Dynasty where she's holding Ryo captive. But not for long. Ryo manages to distract Sarjenka long enough to escape from her into the labyrinth of Talpa's castle. CHAPTER 8: Ryo manages to find the other ronins, and together with the warlords they make it to Talpa's castle. As Anubis rips the Inferno Armor from Sarjenka, Torrent lands a blow which ultimately spells the death of Sarjenka. But she was not the only Warrior of the Chaos Armor.
